Le Marche is perfectly placed between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountains. The region - which has been called the new Tuscany or Umbria - boasts something for everyone; from rolling hills, olive groves, and medieval towns to snow-capped mountains and long, long sandy beaches.

And if you want to savour living true Italian style, this is the place for you. For foodies, there are gastro delights to tempt the palate, whilst for culture vultures there is a wealth of art and architecture to be discovered.

Try walking in the Sibillini Mountains, visiting the famous Frasassi caves, skiing in the winter. Check out the local market towns of Tolentino and Macerata with its open air opera festival or the beaches of Le Conero National Park.
